North Fayette Township issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
The Township of North Fayette, in cooperation with the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County (RAAC), has developed an Active Transportation Plan for the municipality. This project is being partially funded through a grant from the Active Allegheny Grant program. The Township has retained the services of TranSystems to prepare the plan. Brian Krul, PE, PTOE, will be serving as the firm’s project manager for the plan.
The main goal of the Active Transportation Plan (Plan) is to provide realistic, cost-effective, and implementable design solutions to improve walkability, connectivity, accessibility, and safety throughout the Township for pedestrians and bicyclists.
A draft of the plan was added to the website on 11/1/21. It can be viewed/downloaded on the page link below. There is also a link to a survey for any resident who wishes to have their opinions heard.
