Pennsbury Village issued the following announcement on Sept. 9.
Isolated Overnight Water Shutoff
Thursday, Sept 16th Starting at 10 PM
Part of the Borough’s 2021 Road Project includes replacing a fire hydrant on Community Court that is nearing the end of its service life. Only three buildings should be affected by this water shutoff. Only buildings #5 and #7 on Community Court and building #8 on Pennsview Court should loose water service.
The shut off will begin on Thursday evening at 10:00 PM and should end by 5:00 AM on Friday morning.
The majority of Community Court will be open to traffic and parking but we will need to close off the far end of Community Court by the fire hydrant and mark some of the parking spaces as “No Parking”.
Due to the large number of people still working from home and in order to disrupt the fewest number of people, the decision was made to do this work overnight. In the area where this work will be performed, we will try our best to keep the noise level to a minimum. We do apologize in advance if we disrupt your sleep.
