Rep. Valerie Gaydos, a Republican from Allegheny, was sworn in on Tuesday to start her fourth term representing the 44th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

“I am truly grateful to the residents of the 44th District for their continued trust and support,” said Gaydos. “Serving as your voice in Harrisburg is an honor, and I am committed to building on the progress we have made together.”

In her previous term, Gaydos led several initiatives that received attention across Pennsylvania. She authored legislation that became Act 77 of 2024, addressing significant issues within the pharmaceutical industry and offering protections for independent pharmacies and their customers. Her House Bill 589 also advanced through the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, proposing an insurance program for homeowners in landslide-prone areas.

“These legislative milestones reflect my dedication to addressing the real challenges Pennsylvanians face,” stated Gaydos. “In this term, I’ll continue to champion transparency in government, economic growth, and financial stability for families and businesses. Together, we can create opportunities and foster a brighter future for all.”

Gaydos will serve on several committees during the 2025-26 legislative session: Liquor Control, Commerce, Finance, Professional Licensure, as well as the newly formed Communication and Technology Committee. She continues as chair of the House Life Sciences Caucus and is a member of both the House Cancer Caucus and House Cyber Security Caucus.

Her district office is located at 1005 Beaver Grade Road, Suite 106 in Moon Township. Constituents can contact her office at 412-262-3780 with questions or concerns.

On January 7th, Rep. Valerie Gaydos officially began her fourth term after taking her oath of office.
