North Fayette Township issued the following announcement on Feb. 2.
The W.A.M.A. Chaplaincy Care is a cooperative venture with the North Fayette Police Department and North Fayette first responders to offer Chaplain services to residents and first responders of North Fayette.
This ministry was formed because of a genuine desire to offer spiritual care to our neighbors and first responders. The Chaplaincy is comprised of members from four local churches: Mosaic, Montour Presbyterian, Valley Presbyterian, and The Church at the Rock.
Chaplains are trained to provide a listening, non-judgmental ear to residents or first responders seeking our services. If appropriate and desired, chaplains also provide prayer support and referrals.
If you are interested in speaking with a chaplain, call the Chaplaincy Care phone number 412-833-9744, and an on-call chaplain will respond within twenty-four hours.
