Pennsbury Village recently issued the following announcement.

Holiday Community Food and Toy Drive

Date: Sunday, November 28

Time: 10 am – Noon

Location: Bottom of Steps in Commercial Area

Food and Toys are being collected on the same day.

Food collected benefit the Crafton Ingram Community Food Pantry. All types of non-perishable food items are needed, especially canned soups, Ramen noodles, canned vegetables and fruits, peanut butter, jelly, canned chicken/tuna, pasta and pasta sauces, cereal, hand/laundry/dish soaps, cake and muffin mixes, cleaning supplies, paper products, and pet supplies. NO EXPIRED GOODS PLEASE.

Cash and check donations are welcome. Please make checks payable to “Crafton Ingram Food Pantry.”

We are partnering with the Carnegie Police Department and Toys for Tots to collect NEW, UNWRAPPED toys for ages newborn through 15.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO TOY DROP OFF AT THE BOROUGH OFFICE THIS YEAR.

If you miss the in-person collection, you can drop off toys at the Carnegie Police Department on Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The last day to donate is December 3.
