South Fayette Township issued the following announcement on July 19.

Senior center resumes activities

The South Fayette Area Senior Citizens Association has resumed activities following a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Programs are held in the Community Room at the Senior Center, located at the back of the township building, 515 Millers Run Road, South Fayette PA 15064.

Activities remain on the same schedule:

Third Monday of each month, 12:30 p.m., Luncheon Meeting

Mondays, 6 p.m., Euchre

Tuesdays, Noon, 500 Bid

Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m., Mah Jongg

Thursdays, Noon, 500 Bid (except third Thursdays)

Third Thursdays, 10:30 a.m., Mah Jongg

Thursdays, 6 p.m., Euchre

Fridays, 12:30 p.m., Bingo

The group holds a luncheon meeting on the third Monday of each month at 12:30 p.m. The event usually includes speakers, musical entertainment or other special guests.

Please attend the monthly luncheon meeting if you are interested in joining the senior center, or call Margie Smith, group president: 412-221-3730.

The South Fayette Area Senior Citizens Association, Inc. provides social and recreational opportunities for its members age 55 and over and their spouses.
