Tackett Jr., who passed away in a vehicular accident in October 2022. The bridge, which carries the Southern Beltway over State Route 980 in Cecil Township, is being named after Tackett for his heroic act of aiding a woman critically injured by a vehicle collision with the Allegheny County Building several years ago.
