On Wednesday, March 19, former Baldwin High School standout Cassandra Carlson’s current college team, the Youngstown State Penguins, lost 12-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The game took place at Buckeye Field. This was their first matchup against the Buckeyes this season.

The Penguins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at YSU Softball Complex against Niagara Purple Eagles.
