On Wednesday, March 5, former South Fayette High School standout Tyler Pitzer’s current college team, the South Carolina Gamecocks, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Citadel Bulldogs.

The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at Founders Park against Morehead State Eagles.
