On Tuesday, April 1, former South Fayette High School standout Tyler Pitzer’s current college team, the South Carolina Gamecocks, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Presbyterian Blue Hose.

The game took place at Founders Park. This was their first matchup against the Blue Hose this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field at Polk-Dement Stadium against Mississippi State Bulldogs.
