State Senator Devlin Robinson | Pennsylvania
Sen. Devlin Robinson was sworn in for a second term in the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 37th Senatorial District in Allegheny County. Robinson expressed gratitude for the continued support from his constituents, stating, “I am deeply honored to once again have the trust and support of the people of the 37th District. Serving our community in the Pennsylvania Senate is a privilege, and I’m ready to continue working hard to deliver results.”
Robinson's career began with military service following his graduation from Central Catholic High School in Brookline. He joined the United States Marine Corps after high school and volunteered for infantry duty post-September 11 attacks. His military service included three tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq, participating in significant operations such as those leading to Army POW Jessica Lynch's rescue.
After leaving military service, Robinson returned to Pittsburgh and founded Veterans Medical Technology. He furthered his education with a business degree from Robert Morris University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
In his legislative role, Robinson has focused on lowering taxes, supporting small businesses, and expanding manufacturing opportunities. He has sponsored several bills that have become law and secured nearly $75 million in state funding for his district. Additionally, he opposed PennDOT’s bridge tolling plan.
During the 2023-2024 session, Robinson chaired the Labor and Industry Committee and served as vice chair of the Law and Justice Committee while also being part of several other committees. Outside politics, he supports veterans through various organizations across southwestern Pennsylvania.
