State Senator Devlin Robinson | Pennsylvania
Senator Devlin Robinson of Pennsylvania's 37th District has been reappointed to two significant boards aimed at supporting veterans and enhancing the commercial use of waterways in Western Pennsylvania. Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward made the appointments, citing Robinson's dedication to the region's veterans and economic interests.
Robinson will continue serving on the Advisory Council for the Southwestern Veterans’ Center. This council comprises 15 members along with the adjutant general, who together provide advice on managing and operating state veterans' homes. "I am glad to continue the opportunity to support our veterans," said Robinson. "Caring for Pennsylvania’s heroes is a duty I take very seriously, and I look forward to working with the Southwestern Veterans’ Center as they continue their noble work of giving them the care they deserve."
In addition, Robinson was reappointed to the Port of Pittsburgh Commission, which plays a crucial role in linking businesses with funding sources to promote commercial activities on local waterways. The commission's jurisdiction spans 13 counties and includes over 200 miles of navigable waterways in western Pennsylvania. Robinson expressed his gratitude for this role, stating, "I appreciate the reappointment to the Port of Pittsburgh Commission to help ensure western Pennsylvania’s waterways are well equipped and well supported to keep our economy thriving."
Both board positions held by Robinson are set to expire on November 30, 2026.
