Senator Devlin Robinson announced that over $14 million in funding has been allocated to various projects in Allegheny County. The funds, provided through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), aim to foster economic development by creating jobs and enhancing infrastructure.
“These projects will drive economic development in our region by creating jobs and improving infrastructure,” Robinson stated. “I am proud to have advocated for this funding and look forward to seeing these projects benefit Allegheny County.”
The RACP is managed by the Office of the Budget and supports the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. These initiatives are designed to have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact while boosting or maintaining current levels of economic activity, including employment and tax revenue.
