Rep. Andrew Kuzma (R-Allegheny/Washington) announced he is pleased to once again co-host a Senior Expo with Sen. Jim Brewster (D-Allegheny).
The event will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elizabeth Fire Hall, located at 101 S. First St., Elizabeth.
“Last year’s expo was very well attended, and I received a lot of positive feedback on the event,” Kuzma said. “If you are an older Pennsylvanian or have a senior citizen in your life, I would encourage you to attend to gather valuable information.”
More than 30 vendors and representatives from local and state agencies will be available to answer questions and provide information on topics such as Social Security, transportation, Medicare, legal services, in-home services, legislation, consumer protection and long-term care.
The 39th Legislative District includes Elizabeth, Forward and South Park townships; and Elizabeth, Jefferson Hills, Pleasant Hills and West Elizabeth boroughs in Allegheny County; as well as Union and part of Carroll townships; Finleyville and New Eagle boroughs; and the city of Monongahela in Washington County.
