A bipartisan and bicameral group of legislators will announce efforts to fund the prosecution of technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and internet crimes against children.

The initiative, known as Alicia’s Law, is being spearheaded by Rep. Jason Ortitay (R-Allegheny/Washington), Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-Allegheny), and Rep. Jessica Benham (D-Allegheny). The announcement will also feature Alicia Kozak, an internet abduction survivor and founder of The Alicia Project; Pennsylvania mothers Lena Hannah and Jill; and Det. Sgt. Chaz Balogh from the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office.

The press conference is scheduled for Monday, June 10, at 10 a.m., at the Capitol Media Center in the East Wing of Harrisburg.

Live web streaming of the event will be available on RepOrtitay.com and SenatorRobinson.com, barring any technical difficulties.
