Sen. Devlin Robinson (R-37) has announced that over $7.3 million in funding from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) has been awarded for various community projects. The funding will go towards major water and wastewater improvement projects, as well as supporting the local arts.

"Investing in our community means investing in our future," said Robinson. "I'm thrilled to announce that $7.3 million in grants are coming to the region for these important projects. From infrastructure to culture, the 37th district is worth the investments, and I'm looking forward to seeing even more in 2024."

The funding includes grants from the COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA Water Supply, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Projects Program (H2O). This program provides grants for the construction of drinking water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer projects, as well as the repair or rehabilitation of high-hazard unsafe dams and flood control projects. Six projects have been approved under this program.

Two additional projects have been funded through the COVID-19 ARPA PA Arts and Culture Recovery Program. This program aims to support nonprofit arts and culture organizations, local arts and culture districts, and arts and culture professionals in the Commonwealth. The goal is to ensure the stability and recovery of the arts and culture sector from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Furthermore, eleven projects have received funding through the COVID-19 ARPA PA Small Water and Sewer Program (SWS). This program provides grants for small water, sewer, and storm water infrastructure projects. Municipalities and municipal authorities that own and maintain public water supply, sanitary sewer, or storm water systems are eligible to apply. The approved projects under this program will contribute to the improvement of water and sewer infrastructure in the region.

These investments in community and safety projects will have a significant impact on the 37th district. They will not only improve the quality of life for residents but also contribute to the economic growth and development of the region.

The announcement of this funding demonstrates Sen. Devlin Robinson's commitment to serving the needs of the community and ensuring a prosperous future. As the year comes to a close, the 37th district can look forward to the positive changes that these projects will bring in the coming year.
