Bethel Park Police Dept issued the following announcement on May 23.
Park & Play – “Touch-A-Truck”
Saturday, June 4 * 12-3 p.m. * Public Works Garage * 2490 Slater Rd.
FREE to Attend!
If your children love trucks, this is the place to be! We’ll have LOTS OF TRUCKS including tow trucks, dump trucks, SWAT vehicles, Public Works trucks, ambulances, firetrucks, and more! Your kids will be able to explore and take pictures in them!
We’ll also have a dunk tank, a cute selfie frame for great memorable pics of the day and 40-TONS of PLAY SAND for your kids to enjoy! A Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway race car will also be on site and we’ll be giving away FREE TRACK PASSES to the first 100 kids in attendance. Also, to the first 100 kids will be a variety of other FREE gifts including fire helmets and coloring books.
And, don’t worry about lunch! We have that covered too. We’ll be serving up hot dogs, drinks and more!
Trash Toters Available
For those in the community who’d like an additional trash toter, we’ll be selling those at the event for a fee of $90. Cash or check will be accepted. Please note that toters can be purchased on June 4 and will be picked up at a later date.
