Description

Curriculum Committee Meeting – Fast Track Curriculum Recommendations Presentation

School Board meeting rescheduled to Jan. 31

Tonight’s (Monday, Jan. 24) scheduled meeting of the Upper St. Clair School Board has been postponed one week in order to change the meeting venue due to multiple community requests. The meeting will be changed to 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31 in the Upper St. Clair High School theater.

A middle and high school orchestra concert is set for 7 p.m. tonight in the high school’s theater, which renders the facility unavailable to accommodate tonight’s meeting.

In order to change the meeting location, Pennsylvania’s Open Meetings Law requires at least 24 hours advance notice, with the notice printed in a paid newspaper of general circulation and posted at the location where the meeting is to take place. The meeting agenda will be re-posted no later than 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30.

A video recording of the meeting will be posted on the District’s website by Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. There will be several onsite viewing areas in the High School for the meeting.

Public comments can be made in-person at the meeting. Please contact Sarah MacDonald at smacdonald@uscsd.k12.pa.us or 412-833-1600 ext. 2218 with any questions or additional information regarding public participation.
