On September 2, 2025, Senator Robinson posted: “Today our region & @HistoryCenter honored the date (9/2/1971) that the @Pirates fielded the first all minority lineup in @MLB history.

The following day, on September 3, 2025, Robinson announced an event to honor first responders and those who served during the September 11 attacks: “To honor our local first responders and the men and women who selflessly and bravely served on Sept. 11, 2001, PA State Rep.
