Police chief reminds residents to lock car doors
Nov. 2.South Fayette Township police are investigating more than 75 thefts from unlocked vehicles that recently have occurred in multiple neighborhoods of South Fayette.The best, easiest way to deter this crime is to always lock your car doors, and never leave valuables inside the car, according to Police Chief John Phoennik."If the thief tries your door handle and it's locked, they will move on," he says.To report a crime, call 911.Original source can be found here.
