On Friday, Feb. 28, former South Fayette High School standout Tyler Pitzer’s current college team, the South Carolina Gamecocks, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Clemson Tigers.
The game took place at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Fluor Field against Clemson Tigers.
