On Saturday, March 1, former Chartiers Valley High School standout Joey Vanzin’s current college team, the Slippery Rock The Rock, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shippensburg Raiders.

The game took place at Fairchild Field. This was their second matchup against the Raiders this season.

The The Rock’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2:30 p.m. at Fairchild Field against Shippensburg Raiders.
